Wow...amazing...is the only word that I can find to describe the experience of hearing our baby's heartbeat for the first time.  What an amazing experience!  Our doctor was amazed at how active our little one is...it was waiving and moving all over the place.  so exciting!  I have been thankful ever since i got that positive pregnancy test, but as soon as i saw that screen, i could care less how sick i was, or tired...all that mattered was that my baby was healthy and growing!  so....i am officially 10 weeks pregnant tomorrow...which makes our due date September 22nd.  I'm hoping that the baby comes a week early since Lisa has already requested some time off to come up for a week...i really need her to be here!  We have been talking about this experience since we were 4 years old...23 years now we have been best friends!

Sergio and I are SO excited for this next chapter in our lives!  Thanks to all our friends and family that have been praying with us for Baby Ramos...keep it up...we have 7 1/2 months left!

    LOVE YOU ALL!!

  • Happy New Year

What a great Christmas we had!  It was filled with lots of love and family...not too many presents...but I think that that might have been the reason it was so great.  I think that I can say that it was my best Christmas EVER!  It started by us having the best tree in southern Cali....seriously!  It was so beautiful and I was so sad to have to take it down yesterday...I felt like crying!  We had the "Dreisbach Family" over for a Christmas party the 23rd...it was great.  All the extended family...yes all 25 or so of us...at a sit down dinner at our place.  It was so much fun.  Then after church on Sunday we went to my dad's house, had dinner, opened a few presents...and just spent time together.  After breakfast on Christmas morning all the kids (brother and sisters and us) traveled to Mom's house where we ate more food and spent the day making Grandma Tomich's famous sour krout and pasta and looking at old pictures.  It was seriously so much fun.  I don't know if I have enjoyed the company of my siblings and mom so much.  I am so thankful to have a family that loves the Lord.  The Lord has brought us all through so much in the past few years and it was amazing to just see God's faithfulness in our lives.  I love it!  As we came home and are trying to get back in to the swing of normal life...all I can think about is our family...I just love 'em so much!!!! can't get enough!  Today after church we are going up to Victorville to visit Sergio's family...we get to see our new niece..which is soooo exciting.  i imagine i'll be holding and kissing her for two days!

I'm so excited to see how this year turns out.  I know and believe that God has some great things planned for Sergio and I and for our families...I'm thankful to the Lord for always guiding and directing our every step...I just want more of Him!

Love you all and hope your holiday was as joyous as ours was!!  Happy New Year...it's just the beginning of something great to come!

  • Merry Christmas

    20 MORE DAYS!

Amazing isn't it...how fast time goes.  I feel like we were just celebrating the coming of 2006.  It's exciting to see what God is doing in our lives and the lives around us.  Just a few weeks ago my mom re-dedicated her life to the Lord and a week after that, my dad did the same.  The Lord definately knows what He is doing and I am truly amazed at the miracles He does.  I'm so grateful...eternally!

This Thanksgiving was so much fun.  My sisters and I cooked the whole meal and it was TASTY!  The tukey just fell apart.  Youth Convention went well...better than I imagined it would be.  It's always amazing to watch our students worship God and really see Him touch them in a great way.  I was reminded of 4 years ago when Sergio and I got engaged...it was at youth convention that I realized the calling on my life and weeped during the whole worship service on saturday night.  I am so thankful and honored of the calling that He has on my life and I pray that I will continue to live my life for Him and under His covering.

oh more exciting things going on....sister is in love...gosh i love it!  and i love him.  He is a great guy that I can honestly see as a part of our lives.

Well, love you all...and miss you too!

If anyone is around our area this season, give us a call, we'd love to see you!!!
